What is Street Dance?

Street dance is a high-energy, expressive style that brings together moves from Hip Hop, Afro, Popping, Locking, and House.

Within our Street dance classes at Freedom, we fuse these styles into one dynamic form that’s all about rhythm, creativity, and confidence – encouraging every dancer to move with freedom and individuality.

Who is this class for?

Our Street dance classes are open to anyone who wants to dance – whether you are brand new to dancing or have years of experience. Our Mini Street class is for ages 3-7, beginner classes are for ages 8-12, and the intermediate-advanced Street class is for age 13+ up to and including adults. It doesn’t matter if you have never danced before, all are welcome to join in! We understand that dancers may be at different levels for their age, so if you have any questions about which class level is right for you, don’t hesitate to ask us for advice.

When are the classes?

Mini’s (age 3-7) – Tuesdays at 4.30pm
Beginner (age 8-12) – Mondays at 4.30pm
Intermediate-Advanced (age 13+) – Tuesdays at 8.15pm

Beginners & Intermediate-Advanced – £7

How to book

Download the StudioBookings app from your App Store, once downloaded, search for Freedom Studios.
Create a new account in the dancer’s details, sign the waiver and agree to the terms and conditions.
Go to the Class Schedule, click Book Now on the class you want to attend and purchase a class credit using your card details. You can also sign up for the monthly subscription membership to get access to unlimited classes!
