Which class is right for me?

Whether you’re just starting your dance journey or looking to explore new styles, choosing the right dance class can feel overwhelming! We offer a variety of classes that cater to different interests, goals and skill levels. From the energetic hair flipping world of Commercial, to the elegant toe pointing of a Ballet class, or the vibrant storytelling stage performance of Musical Theatre, there’s something for everyone.

Our classes aren’t strictly defined by age brackets, as we believe dance training is most effective tailored to your experience and ability level before age. But as a rough guide…

  • Mini classes: ages 3 up to 8
  • Beginner to Intermediate: ages 8 to 12
  • Intermediate to Advanced: age 13+

Commercial

A high-energy, performance-focused style seen in music videos, concerts and advertisements. It combines elements of hip-hop, jazz and pop, emphasising sharp movements, stage presence and versatility.

Lyrical / Contemporary

An expressive dance form that blends elements of ballet and jazz. It focuses on fluid movement, emotional expression, and innovative choreography, allowing dancers to explore through unconventional techniques.

Technique

Focusing on refining dancers’ foundational skills, such as alignment, strength, flexibility and precision. It covers essential elements across various styles, ensuring dancers develop proper form, control and discipline.

Street

An energetic, expressive style originating from urban environments. Street dance encompasses various styles like hip-hop, litefeet, afro and locking, emphasising improvisation, rhythmic movement and individual flair.

Musical Theatre

Combining singing, dancing and acting to perform scenes from popular musicals. We focus on storytelling through expressing movement, vocal performance and character development, preparing students for theatrical productions.

Choreography

Different styles of dance covered every week. We focus on specific routines, movement coordination, and timing. Dancers learn to work on synchronisation as part of different formations and unique combinations of moves.

Ballet

Focusing on classical technique, emphasising posture, flexibility and grace. Ballet involves structure exercises, barre work and choreography to develop strength and precision for a solid foundation to all styles.

Tap

Tap dance targets rhythm, timing and coordination, Dancers use their feet to create intricate sound patterns with movement and percussion. It’s an energetic and fun style that enhances musicality through step combinations.

Acro & Tricks

A blend of dance with acrobatic techniques, emphasising strength, flexibility and coordination. Dancers learn tumbling, balancing and tricks, integrating these dynamic moves into routines for thrilling athletic performances.

Team Training

Weekly training for our competitive teams (Street, Lyrical and Acro). Speak to us if you are interested in auditioning for a team, we’re always on the hunt for new talent and expanding our teams.

Dance Leadership

Dancers age 12+ can study Dance Leadership Level 1 and 2 qualifications with us as part of regular training. After they complete the program, they will be able to assist in leading safe, purposeful, and enjoyable dance sessions.

1-to-1 Privates

Our private 1-to-1 lessons are ideal for perfecting a solo piece, cleaning your technique, working on improvisation, or whatever you’d like to work on. These private sessions can be paired with a partner to work on a duo together too!
